Any News?

There's 40 spots for trimester and only 30 spots for semester right? I have a feeling there's going to be a raffle at orientation .

I'm curious as to what the stats were for this semester. I know the cut-off was 9.32 but anyone know how many applicants there were?

Hmmm.. So CSULB said it was okay to send them an official transcript (without CSU GE Cert.) by Nov. 12... and then you can send them another transcipt with GE cert. after the deadline? Because I just ordered my transcript from fullerton college and it said it takes 7-10 days to process the transcript with GE cert. So should I send a non-GE certified transcript to CSULB electronically (apparently they will recieve it right away) just in case?

When sending in transcripts are you all getting general education certification with it?

My letter says submit transcripts by November 12, that's a really short amount of time no?

No one that I know of? I'm assuming that the request to send transcripts to CSULB admissions will be included in THE email that everyone is waiting for haha.

@lilitc I talked to csulb admissions last week because I was concerned with my transcripts regarding general education certification and other stuff.. and the person I talked to said that they will give you "ample time" (she did not specify how many days) to order your transcripts AFTER they have contacted you and requested them from you. And yes the deadline to turn in transcripts for other majors is probably today because they already got accepted by their programs way earlier than our program. So we have to wait until the SON tells CSULB admissions who is accepted, Then CSULB admissions will tell us when to turn in our transcripts and what our specific deadline is for the nursing students.

Not yet they didn't ask for it yet.

That was from the fall 2013 forums. So I'm guessing if you checked your application status of csulb and it says you're accepted to csulb then the SON must have accepted you, no?

I also remember hearing that from the information meeting. I wonder why they ask about the military on our application though?

Some brave soul should call them and ask if they're almost done making decisions lol.

Actually i was reading through the Fall 2014 threads, and they interviewed and found out if they got in 2 days later! So we can disregard my earlier comment hehe...

I really hope that's the case Lilitc but I'd like to point out that the spring 2014 cohort had their interviews cancelled. That means the admissions staff were able to quickly gather the top 70 or so students and sent them an acceptance e-mail. And since we had our interviews.. they might look over our performances during the interview which might take longer.

Phew! I just got home from the interview. That was kinda fun! I hope we find out soon.

Where are you guys getting your 2x2 passport photo?

I think the interviewees later in the day are group B. I signed up for 2 PM and a couple of classmates of mine are scheduled for 3 PM and we are all group B

I doubt they will send scores to us. They will only contact you right now if they are reviewing your application and there is a small error that needs to be corrected.

That sounds about right. I've been reading the forums from the last couple years and they have gotten they interview emails around sept 31st-mid October and after interviews they let you know if you're in around October 31st til mid November.

I remember the admissions coordinator saying that if you turn your application in closer to the deadline date it takes them longer to send confirmation emails because there's a lot of applications to process towards the end of the application period.

Yes nair, and your teas transcript if you didn't take it at CSULB. But for the sake of clarity lets just call that the "school of nursing application". Because there is a supplemental application that needs to be sent to CSULB admissions by the 22nd which is done online.
