Anyone attend/graduate Chamberlains nursing program in Chicago?
I set up an appointment with an advisor to apply to this school and take the HESI exam, but I don't want to get sucked into a school where I'm paying an extreme amount of money after graduation from loans, and then not even getting hired because the school isn't credible. Have any of you graduated from this school, and if so what did you think of the program? Were you able to find a job at a good hospital? Also I've accumulated 29 credit hours at my community college. I've taken Micro, A&P I, English I and II, and other nursing pre-reqs... However, the advisor I spoke to said they don't require pre-reqs. I'm just a little skeptical but I really want to get on the path to getting my career started sooner! I was looking into UIC and Loyola's nursing program, but if Chamberlain is legitimate I will definitely go for it!

Any A&P II study tips?
Luckily I had a very organized anatomy I prof. Last semester and made a B in that class. However, this time I NEED an A no excuses! But I'm a bit ADD and have a hard time staying organized. What was your experience like with A&P II? How did you study? And what was the difficulty in that class compared to A&P I? Thanks guys :)

Should I take anatomy II over the summer?
I learned a lot in A&P I and feel very confident about how much I learned, I understand every concept and I got a B only because of the difficulty of the tests. I'm glad you did so well! I think I will too since other people have been able to do it too :)

Should I take anatomy II over the summer?
I'm taking a remedial math class this summer 3 days a week but I also wanted to take anatomy II . I got in a B in anatomy I last semester so I can't afford to get another B in A&P II, but I've heard a lot of good things about the teacher I would be taking. Also, I'm not the best at math so yeah.. what do you guys think? By the way, these classes are 7 weeks long.

Frustrated, pre-nursing student. Will my grades catch admissions attention?
I've been working on pre-reqs for about a year and a half now. So far my grades are Micro- B Anatomy I- B Psychology- A English I- C English II- A History-A I still have anatomy II, a few gen eds, and chemistry classes. I'm trying to get into a BSN program at two very competitive nursing schools in Chicago. I am in no way showing off my grades, in fact, I'm more frustrated with the fact that I can't seem to get higher than a B in science courses. I am striving for an A in anatomy II, and I'm also going to volunteer at a hospital over the summer so hopefully this will boost my chances of getting accepted. The schools I'm applying to also only let in 60 of 600+ people that apply. So are these grades even good enough for consideration? Should I retake one of the classes I got a B in? I completely feel that students with all A's deserve a spot more than I do. However, I am willing to retake classes if it will improve my chances of getting in because I have dedicated my whole life to these courses. but I definitely need a new approach and any recommendations from you guys. :) -Unorganized, frustrated pre-nursing student
