You actually can't defer your acceptance. If you decide to do that you would have to reject the offer and re-apply for the next intake.

The more A's you have the better in those required high school classes! I has all A's, and about 110 volunteer hours- at a senior home. You're good based on your grades and experience, it comes down to how you do on the interview and essay.. The deadline for the next intake is August 15th.

I submitted just one reference letter and I got accepted. I'm not sure if you require more than one, it's always better to have more though.
