  1. Wow I haven't been notified of new messages. My TEAS score was 85.3% (95th national percentile). My curricular GPA is 4.0 and my overall is 3.86. I'm currently enrolled in AP1 and college algebra so I scored a touch lower in those subjects. I have has BIO 101 here and Chem 111 in NC.
  2. Congratulations everyone! See you at orientation.
  3. I was conditionally accepted! I didn't get mine until 6:20pm. I'm currently enrolled in Bio 141 and Mth 158. I'm in the traditional track. Congratulations everyone.
  4. Still nothing... Are the emails coming from your advisors?
  5. Yeah that was my next question. I submitted mine August 16.
  6. Ugh I'm about to have a panic attack! My last name starts with C.
  7. I haven't received anything yet. Which track are you guys in?
  8. In the information session, I was told we would be contacted in mid October. Looking at other forums, (spring '15) they were contacted around October 17th. We could know something as early as this week.
  9. Me too. I'm positive they know stats from previous years. Not having good communication with my advisor makes me somewhat nervous.
  10. Awesome! I did traditional only.
  11. That's what makes me so nervous! I have never been able to get in touch with my advisor by phone or email, so I expressed my concerns to one of my teachers in the science department. He called someone in the nursing department and I asked her opinion on my TEAS score. All I wanted to know is if was a competitive score or should I retake prior to submitting my application. She said 95th is very competitive and not take it again. I really hope we all are the ones with the top scores. We seem to have very similar numbers!
  12. Hi! My husband and I moved from Jacksonville NC (Camp Lejeune/Marines). I wish we could live out in that area. We live in base housing so I'll be making the same drive as your husband. I really hope everyone who has replied to this forum has really high scores compared to most applicants, otherwise it's going to be extremely competitive. QUOTE=JB001;8683486]Hi all, I've also applied for the spring 2016 application period. I moved here in January 2014 from Washington State. We are military too (Army) but we decided to move to Midlothian for the school district (my middle schooler) so my husband drives about 45 min to work daily. I studied for about two weeks for the TEAS and received an 84% (95% national ranking) and have a 4.0 as well. I am wondering the same types of questions, e.g., how many applied? what is the average TEAS score of this applicant pool? I'm taking A&PII and Microbiology and it seems that I have several classmates that have also applied. Not to mention, they extended the open application period this time. There's four more days until the period is up so retaking the TEAS is not an option for me. I guess we'll have to just wait and see...
  13. I know they said 70-80 students total (hybrid and traditional) when I went to the info session in July. There were a lot of people attending. The director said most score proficient but I find it hard to believe serious pre nursing students usually don't score higher than that... at least as high as we did. I'm currently in A&P 1 and college algebra. If I can score that high without those important classes, I feel most will score higher than I, but I tend to over analyze and worry too much. Lol
  14. I haven't applied anywhere else yet. I literally just moved to the area in mid June. In fact, I wish in a hotel room the first 10 days of my summer session because we didn't have a house yet. (Military) I studied for the TEAS for about a week. I have the official study guide from the website so that's pretty much all I used. I do have college level biology and chemistry under my belt though so I think that helped in the science section. I just needed more A&P knowledge. There were so many people at the information session I attended that I can't help but freak out a little. We were told that most score "proficient" but I can't help but wonder how many did better than me with all their pre reqs already taken. I tend to over think things though. Haha
  15. I may try to drive up there by the end of the week if I haven't heard from her. I live on Ft Lee so it's a 45 minute drive to Midlothian. I'm taking my last 2 pre reqs this semester (A&P1 and College Algebra) I transferred from NC this summer. Right now I have a 4.0 curricular GPA and a 3.86 overall GPA. My TEAS individual score was 85.3% with a national percentile rank of 95 and a program rank of 96. Do you think I should relax a little bit or stay on top of getting in touch with her?
