  1. I have called WGU and I am told that I have to take their entrance exam test. I am a bit nervous, but I am up for the challenge. The representative said they can accept as many as 95 credits from my previous colleges. I just applied and submitted my application. I will keep you all posted. Thank you so much for all your answers.
  2. Hello all: I seriously need your help and honest opinion/advice: Are there any nurses here who have received a degree through an online program? I am getting ready to go back to school for my BSN and would love to hear from you? I started attending University of Phoenix late last year and it was one of the most horrific experience I ever went through. I was placed in courses that I did not need, which was a waste of time, energy and money. I was so devastated when I was told that a class that my academic advisor placed me in was not part of my bsn curriculum. I was very upset because initially they were trying to cover it up not until I asked for answers. They eventually conceeded and said it was an error on their part. I find Most of the professors to be lousy and unhelpful-so, I withdrew from UOPX since I felt they broke my trust and felt they would do anything to retain profit. Additionally, I read a lot of negative reviews after I withdrew. I wish I had done more research about that school then to enroll so naively. Ever since then I called Chamberlain and applied, I was accepted in their program. I am now enrolled with Chamberlain school of nursing, but I am pretty nervous about it. They accepted 82 credits from a previous state college where I graduated with my ADN and accepted another 10 credits from the UOPX. I guess my question is what has been your experiences with online RNtoBSN programs. My instinc is telling me to give Western Governor University a chance and not to go with Chamberlain School of nursing. I really need your help and guidance. Most RN-to-BSN programs compose of 120 college credits meanwhile I am being told by Chamberlain I need about 140 college credits for my BSN. I have 3 children and going through a seperation. I really need to enroll with the college that will accept most of my credits. I feel doubful about Chamberlain. PLEASE HELP ME!! Tia
