  1. Well, I don't have any felony charges haha so I think I will actually pay for those quick results. I am so anxious now I don't know what I will do with myself!
  2. Hey everyone, I took my NCLEX-RN this morning *cringes* My test shut off at 75 questions and I am extremely nervous! Pearson Vue offers "unofficial" results in 48 hours. I am willing to pay for that, my question is, what is the likelihood that that is the incorrect results? Is it even worth paying for? I would have to sit through the weekend until next week for BON results I think because the weekend is coming up (do they do results over the weekend?) So should I do the unofficial or wait?! Help! I am dying with anxiety haha I don't want them to give me a good answer but in actuality the answer is bad
  3. Thank you all! I found a course on my off day but I will be there for 12 hours *cringes* but at least I will have it done. I will look into the online one for PALS. I can actually take it with my hospital but it isn't a requirement for my current job position and I want both done before transferring out so that I can have them on my resume. Thank you all though!
  4. I will be replying to all of you soon! Hang tight! Haha I promise I'm not ignoring you Sent from my iPhone using allnurses
  5. I need some recommendations for ACLS classes (in Dallas). My hospital has them for free, but I work the days they schedule the class. Because of the holidays, I don't have the PTO to take off. Can anyone recommend where I can take the class without having to pay $500? Thanks so much :)
  6. I will email you :)

  12. THANK YOU! I think I almost died from stress :-( But it was a good hospital, I suppose. A lot of people have been failing the CPNE though. So yikes. I'm just happy this is all behind me. Now I get to look forward to this wonderful almost $500 "graduation fee" *side eye*
  13. Thank you! Best holidays ever haha Sent from my iPhone using allnurses
  14. I passed my CPNE at the New York Hospital Queens this passed weekend! Craziest, most stressful weekend of my life but I'M DONE! I could not have made it through this program without allnurses.com. Guys, I did it :-) Thank god it's done.

It's a headache. And they were trying to tell me 9 months. It's not a happy process. I was hoping 3 myself...when I test it will have been the 5 months -_- Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

@[COLOR=#003366]Medic85907 Thank you! I'm praying for that also! They didn't tell me how often cancellations were coming up but I was bugging them 1-2x per week. I would suggest more. They had tried steering me away from that, but I kept at it and thank god got a date. @[COLOR=#003366]SnowballDVM I was trying to do it asap right after! I am a practicing nurse and I just need to practice/run through the steps they want us to follow. I wasn't trying to waste half my life waiting for this test smh. I will have more to say once I graduate this program...

@tmjones1 thank you! Ughhhhhhh 5 months!!!! And that's just because I kept bugging for a cancellation date. They were trying to tell me I was probably going to have to wait until Feb/March 2015! And I finished in June! Ridiculous. Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

So I finally got my CPNE test date with Excelsior college: next month at the end of November! I will be testing at New York Hospital Queens. Any Excelsior grads that completed their CPNE there? Any tips? Wish me luck guys!
  20. I just got my test date for next month at NY Hospital Queens and I am excited/anxious! I see the reviews on this feed look pretty good though. I live in Dallas and I didn't want to wait until next year to test (seeing as I finished in June) so I chose NPAC. Thank god. Send good energy my way too please!
  21. I keep running across old articles so I would like more current info. I have finished all my course work from Excelsior college LVN to RN and just waiting for my CPNE test date. I want to go immediately for my bridge RN to BSN (to be done!). I am currently looking to see which program is best. I was thinking of doing Excelsior's program but I am thinking against it now. It looks like UTA has a good online program (and I live in Dallas). But I would like a little more info. I have been hearing about a program with LSU? TWU? Can I get input about anyone's online bridge RN to BSN experience?
  22. Thank you! Lord help me haha
  23. Thank you so much @Pixie.RN! Sent from my iPhone using allnurses
  24. So I am prepping for my CPNE (with EC) and the thing I am most nervous about is: the unknown patient problem. What happens if I get a patient diagnosed with something that I know nothing about?! I haven't done peds since I was my clinicals when I was nursing school (LVN) which is about 7 years ago now. The study guide states CEs are there only to observe. Now I know they won't let us jeopardize the patient...but what happens with the unknown?
  25. @Verndern Thank you! Well, my biggest thing is just buckle down and do it, honestly. The list of text books and amount of information is mind-boggling and we simply can't remember it all. Keep up with the study guides, keep in touch with allnurses (you guys saved my life! lol) and believe in yourself. KEEP TRACT OF DATES! That's what got me. I literally took my last three nursing theory exams with Pearson Vue in one week (I do not recommend this, I almost cried when I passed them all in shock). I wasn't aware of the deadlines for the FCCAs. They kinda threw it at me like, hey summer semester starts (this date). Also, application paperwork is a beast for CPNE which I'm scrambling for now. And I hear test dates are ridiculous...which I am stressing about now. Haha but push through it! If you need me, I am here :) V
