    Hey Todd, I work in Austin. The pay really sucks but the city can't be beat! You have to give something up in order to live here. We are lucky being nurses, can always find a job. We have 2 hospital systems here with numerous hospitals in each so you are kinda limited with "companies". Houston/Dallas has the good money but not the style of Austin. I work in a hospital that has just expanded to almost 30 suites, they are still under construction. We have a good unit, no big pressures, lots of help, etc.
