  1. I know what CCHD is and why we do it. It was the full term newborn's first screen so it was done in the hospital at around 40 hours of life. Again I will ask should O2 have been put on the baby even though she was asymptomatic?
  2. During a routine CCHD screening a newborn was found to have an O2 sat of 91% on her first screen. Color was good. Newborn was not having any problems breathing. (no retracting, grunting, flaring, etc) so it was decided to just recheck the sats in one hour without doing any further interventions. Should O2 have been placed on this baby?
