Hey guys, Yes you can definitely manage at least a few shifts a week during this program. It is a lot of online work/reading but so long as you stay on top of it, it is doable! I am not sure if I could say the same during the 3 month practicum, and there are also practicums each term after the third (albeit less time). They are continually in the process of perfecting and changing the program for the better, but I would advise against it unless you have the ability to force yourself to do the work and extra studying.

Hi star lite, We start Sept 2 for the two week stint at the Langley campus and I believe they are almost full days...I thought we ended around 2:00 but was told 4:00 by one of the program coordinators...

hi shellbar, you have to go to student services desk and have them photocopy it once filled and stamped at either campus...I am not local so I have faxed mine in and once my tb test is complete I have to drive down and do the same!

in the info session she said it won't be fully accredited until the first class graduates which is soon or already happened..not sure! She assured us it is but they just have to wait

In terms of the ipad we need for the program will 16gGB be enough for the ebooks/apps etc?

hey pinkbubbles, I know for sure we have two weeks at the start and a three month term where we have to be in Langley for semester three just not sure what dates...and the rest of practicum can be done in your hometown. I'm under the impression it's a tough program but through skype and various other technologies we will virtually be working together. Hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise, I'm excited!

hi, I will be doing the program in a different city than Langley. I spoke to one of the program admissions people and was told I will have to go to Langley two weeks at the start and for a three month clinical/lab term during third semester. The rest of the program can be done in your city and they will work with you to figure out local practicums etc (thats what I was told). I hope to find out when the three month stint is asap

I live in Kelowna, so I will have to couch surf a bit but glad we don't have to relocate :)

I also got my conditional acceptance woo! I am just wondering if anyone knows about immunization requirements, whether we need them ALL done by May 19 or if we can continue to get them up until the program start date? Any info would be appreciated :)
