Hey teabird, did you already attend transfer orientation or are you already a student at SJSU?

Does anyone know when enrollment dates will be posted on MYSJSU?

My friend was waitlisted and then got accepted into the program, she was called the week before school started! Very nerve-wrecking for her! I'm sure there will be some people choosing other schools, failing drug/background screening, or last minute events where nursing is just not the right time for them. Stay positive, it's the best for your mental well-being! :) Btw, has anyone received their background check results in the mail? I haven't & I did mine on Monday

Congratulations everyone! Looking forward to meeting you all & to fancyeyes: yes, definitely e-mail someone about it. In the acceptance letter it instructs students to do their background check no more than a week from receiving their letter, and in parenthesis it said May 5, so I assume that the last bunch of letters should have arrived by Monday. I'm hoping you'll get your letter by tomorrow (maybe your mail carrier is busy/slow)? Ask your neighbors, too if they got your letter by mistake. But better safe than sorry and try to get it figured out tomorrow morning or as soon as possible Good luck to you fancyeyes & those on the waitlist, I'm sure some people will drop their spot! I had a friend on the waitlist who got in a week before school started!

I'm certain all the acceptance letters cannot be sent out all in one day, it depends what city/neighborhood you live in and and the volume of letters that need to be sent. Again, I live relatively close to SJSU and my neighborhood is very close to the post office (if that does anything). Can't wait to hear back from you guys!

Yes I am a transfer student and my impaction score is 7.83

Oh I should've mentioned this earlier but I forgot to, but the reason why I think my status is clear/verified already is because I turned in my transcript many weeks ago. So I noticed that status a good couple weeks ago. Hope that wasn't too confusing..

Hey don't worry! Today was the first day to receive the letters, and I live only 20 minutes away from SJSU

I got my acceptance letter! I'm sure we'll be seeing many similar posts in the days to come can't wait to meet everyone!
