  1. Anyone else received their call yet? I'm surprised the thread is this quiet right now since they typically make calls over 2 days.
  2. Congrats EMKY :) I will see you next Friday!
  3. Congrats and nice points! They are definitely not calling by point order.
  4. Hmm. Maybe they have split up the call list among the employees.
  5. Nice! Congratulations :) When is your signing?
  6. Yeah I have 94.2. And thanks :) I hope you guys get your calls soon! Don't worry if you don't receive one today though since these calls typically take place over 2 days.
  7. Heads up everyone: Calls have started :) My contract signing is on 11/13 1-4 PM. I did ask about the cutoff, but she was not able to tell me anything
  8. Lol I think most of us are in that situation. I'm surprised my husband hasn't called just to create a "false alarm".
  9. Welcome Hcep :) They probably will start making calls tomorrow. It's possible today, but I'm not going to hold my breath
  10. They will probably start making calls Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I think they base call order on the amount of points--start with the highest and work down.
  11. Some of the applicants in my session were discussing how many points they have.
  12. My session was about 2 weeks ago. There was only 8-9 of us. Some did not have their points calculated (still have to take HESI, pre-reqs in progress). Other than that, I think the points ranged from 89-97.
  13. I think you will be accepted Kat :) We will know for sure in 6 weeks! Hopefully time flies until then lol
  14. I had to reschedule my signing session to October 15 at 1 PM. I tried to get the session on October 16, but it was full
  15. My signing is still October 1 as of right now. However, I might have to reschedule. As far as applying with pre-reqs still in progress, it's still possible but is a nail-biting experience Spring sessions typically have a lower cutoff so I think with 90 points you definitely have a chance.
  16. The one thing that I didn't like about the HESI was in the reading comprehension section--some of the questions seemed ambiguous and asked you to draw conclusions. The rest of it wasn't too difficult. I used Elsevier's HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review and HESI A2 Secrets Study Guide by Mometrix.
  17. As far as last spring's session, I saw on a thread that someone was accepted with an 89.4. I'm not sure what the exact cutoff was though.
  18. That's so funny that you were in that class too. I took BIOL 224 the month after that and did not personally meet a single person from that class who was applying for spring.
  19. Apparently a comment I left earlier didn't post :/ Anyway, welcome Renee :) Chem isn't too hard, especially if you keep up with the masteringchemistry website lessons/homework. As Kat said, let us know when you schedule your signing.
  20. It went good! BIOL 224 was intense in the summer but I still pulled an A. What classes are you taking now?
  21. I think that you will be fine with a 90.8. I've heard that the cutoff is typically lower (around high 88s) for spring and summer sessions.
  22. Yeah I'm really bored waiting for these next few months to pass! Did anyone else get the October 1st signing?
  23. I came across the 2015-2016 SON handbook http://www.unlv.edu/assets/degrees/nursing/Handbook-BS-Nursing-2015-16.pdf It provides some general information about clinicals, attendance, dress code, grades, etc. Someone in the fall 2015 thread was also kind enough to link the book list.
  24. Once this last class is finished next week, I will most likely have 94.24 points.
  25. I took CHEM 108 last month. Now I'm in BIOL 224. One more week! Is Dr. Spangelo your professor?
