  1. If you're interested, this is the watch I was referring to:http://www.amazon.com/Casio-MQ24-1E-Black-Resin-Watch/dp/B000GAWSHM/ref=sr_1_22?s=watches&ie=UTF8&qid=1403279197&sr=1-22 Or:Casio Unisex MQ24-7B Analog Black Resin Strap Casual Watch at Amazon Men's Watch store. Or maybe this women's watch:Casio Unisex MQ24-7B Analog Black Resin Strap Casual Watch at Amazon Men's Watch store.
  2. Hey SRG, were you the one I spoke to at the CPR class - the one who parked next to me? Ive found a good, cheap men's watch that might work for you ladies as well.
  3. I've met other people now, after having gone to the CPR certification course - although nobody that I spoke with gave me their name, haha. The stethoscope I chose was the ADC 601 convertible - it had very good reviews regarding comfortability and acoustics, in addition to being a bit cheaper than a really nice Littmann.
  4. And have purchased a stethoscope, pen light, scissors and BP cuff from Amazon.
  5. Hey Jess, I've completed all of the certified profile stuff minus the flu shot and CPR recertification. I have purchased slightly older edition textbooks for the majority of our future classes (I've heard this is okay to do, but beware as some things change between editions and instructors will not cater to old textbooks), and will be purchasing uniforms within the next two weeks :)
  6. I know! I've already started with a bunch of the scheduling; the first semester book list is huge!
  7. Thats great that she got in! Im Christopher Wild. You?
  8. Congrats! I guess I'll see ya at the orientation :)
  9. I just received my acceptance letter! Whooo!
  10. Haha, that sucks! Should we be expecting a packet if accepted? I had 34 with a good (88ish overall) teas score. And you?
  11. Hi Jess. Like you, I'm an August hopeful, eagerly awaiting a letter in the next week or two. Hell who am I kidding, I've already started checking my mail daily since the start of this week :)
  12. Juliab, I would highly recommend having your employer/good friend/professor write you a recommendation letter. I just submitted my application package to start in the fall at the Cocoa campus (fingers crossed! 34 pts, 88.1 reading and 87.3 overall) and was told that while they are not essential, the letters help the committee get a feel for who you are as a person, which just adds a layer of depth and clarity to your package. Given how easy they are to include, I would definitely be sure to have at least 2 if not the maximum of 3.
