I've presented them with my grades and study materials but they seem to think it doesn't matter. I just want fairness and some of the other students have spoken to is since and told us that they denied it.

Also my grades have been pretty good in class before this test, so it's not like I needed the test bank to pass andall the information in the test bank was in our points and notes. And the girl that bought it has proof of when she bought it so that they wouldn't think we had it longer than that one test. Also the test bank doesn't say student or teacher? I know someone commented earlier about that? It just says test bank last copyrighted in 2011.

Yea there's other students in the program that had it too but lied and said they didn't at questioning and the girl that bought the test bank has proof that she sent it to them and has given it to the instructor, nursing director, and dean if health sciences. They are still in the program taking their finals Thursday. They just said that it'll bite them in the but when they go to take the NCCLEX but I still think it's not fair when they have hard evidence... I'm wondering if it has to do with their accreditation bc if all students had it and are kicked out they won't have a graduating program this year? I'm not sure I know nothing about that kind of stuff but I just feel that if they aren't going to overturn our appeal that they should at least be fair. Our next appeal is a council if 6 people that have nothing to do with the nursing program. So we'll see what they have to say if this appeal isn't approved. I'm supposed to hear back from this appeal today or tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't been on lately guys. Been working full time again since there hasn't been school... Waiting for results from my 3rd appeal in the process. So far no one has gotten back in. Their reasoning for not letting us back in is bc of the time frame that we told the truth. This is is not showing on our transcripts we just can't apply for the nursing program at the same school again. At least now I know what to do in the future and I'm applying at other nursing schools.

My grades have been consistent and I have never had an infraction before. I just hope that this appeal will go through and I'll get another chance. I know now not to ever use anything outside of the classroom like this without permission again.

Well after a 4 hour individual interrogation on Thursday we did take a re-test, then before having time to even grade them we were dismissed....and they said that they couldn't grade the tests due to administration...

I didn't speak up on Monday because I didn't want to go into it without proof that I didn't know that I had the teachers questions/test....My parents recommended to do it as a group too.

The girl bought it from like testbankcorner.com or something like that.... theres like 40 questions each chapter but our teacher's test was only 50 questions so we studied a lot of other questions too. Not to mention my powerpoints, flash cards that I made, and made easy books that I have. It just says test bank on it, I don't know if that means its the teachers one or a student one?

Nothing in the syllabus, nursing handbook, or school handbook about test banks.

That's exactly what I'm saying. So the dishonest students are still in class and the honest ones are out.

We are all appealing to get back in the program. We didn't know that it was going to be her test and I had never even seen a test bank before this. I just thought they were practice questions. The test was on a Monday and our next class wasn't until Thursday so we had planned to go to her on Thursday as a group but they considered that dishonesty bc we waited too long.

Yes and our 1st appeals were turned down 2nd appeal next week. But we have tests and finals coming up soon so we're trying to hurry and get back in. I just don't understand how we are out for dishonesty when we told the truth. I don't know how to go about my appeal :/

Since the previous post over half the class was dismissed for academic dishonesty. But the others were dishonest and are still in the program. I'm not worried about the liers, I'm worried about my appeals because I did tell the truth about having it.....
