  1. I'm wondering if anyone here has applied to, been accepted to, or is a current or former student of UMKC's Accelerated BSN program. I'm wondering about reviews of the program and school, NCLEX pass rate, quality of teaching, etc. The program is a bit longer in length than some of the other programs I'm looking at, and I'm wondering how current/former students like the structure of it. I know the program is small and I'm wondering how competitive it is. Average GPA, volunteer work, experience, etc, would be helpful from those of you in the program. This is the only school I'm considering right now that would require me to re-take Chem (because of their 5-year limit), so I'm wondering if it'd be worth it depending on how good of a school this is. About me: BA in World Politics, Master of Public Health; work as a researcher at a big health research institute; about to start volunteering at a Boston hospital. Looking for a good ABSN program in the midwest, to be near my family in Nebraska (at least closer than I am now living in Boston). Also looking at UNMC, Creighton, St. Catherine, U Colorado.
