Hi, I'm currently an econ/business major at UC school, but thinking about doing nursing. I've always wanted to work in healthcare but was really undecided so I went with econ but I'm now realizing that nursing would probably be a better fit. I just can't see myself working in business. Anyways, I'm about to finish my 2nd year and am wondering if it is too late to switch to nursing. I have all my GEs finished, but I doubt any of my classes would transfer except for maybe calculus and one quarter of gen. chemistry... My school (like most UCs) doesn't offer a nursing program... So is it best to just finish up my bachelor's in econ or change schools? If I do decide to do nursing, I would want to eventually get an advanced degree and hopefully become an NP.
