  1. Honestly if NCLEX passing rates are the same I wouldn't be worried about it. You do learn a lot in the field from what I hear, and in the 2 clinicals and 3 screeenings I've done, I can tell thats where you set everything in stone. You'll be a great nurse either way! If you truly want to move to "the better program" go for it! It's really about what you want. Who you are as a nurse really depends on the kind of person you are and how much you put into your program. Best of luck!
  2. First of all welcome to the best city in Florida! You're going to fall in love with the city there is so much to do. I used to be a volunteer at Sacred Heart Childrens Hospital before I moved for nursing school, and I can say they are very passionate hard workers. They have great standards, and any time I have been a patient I always felt taken care of. West Florida Hospital and Baptist are great as well actually. All 3 work pretty close together, and is a big reason why they do such a wonderful job. Congratulations!
  3. Does anybody know when the packs will be sent out?
  4. Admit!!! Congratulations everyone! I can't wait to meet you all!
  5. Thank you! Once again waking up to minor anxiety..
  6. Ya boy was lurking. I couldn't post anything cause I've been at work all day! I thought we were supposed to get a call sometime today...FLchick5 what's the Facebook page you're talking about?
  7. Those stats sound promising to me guys! I'm a hopeful as well. My overall GPA is 3.4 and Pre-reqs is 3.6. TEAS is an 85. I have all the volunteer/work hours, including the medical setting. I only did one of the suggested pre-reqs and am currently enrolled in another. Does anyone know when they email out their decision?
