  1. Hahaha. Thank you for your reply!
  2. You say the call from HR may take a while, but how long is that from the time the submission of applications were due? Im worried that I will get a job offer here in my state before I hear back from Emory. Emory is my first choice and I don't want to turn down a job here just to find out later that Emory doesn't want me.
  3. Hello everyone. I just applied to the nursing residency program at Emory hospital in Atlanta this month (the due date was the Sept. 15th). I was just wondering if anyone would like to share their experience with their hiring process (how long until you hear back and pay rates). I am from out of state so the more information I have will help with planning. Thanks in advance!
  4. I have not been on since I posted this and I am so sorry I did not thank you all sooner! Your help is so appreciated.
  5. Hello, I am a nursing student on a basic neuro floor. As a student, we are not allowed to do NIH scale neuro checks, just the basic ones. I see a mixture of both when I am on the floor and get confused as to what I should do when I perform my neuro checks. Does anyone know what the basic neuro checks are? can someone send me a check list? From what I think I know, I just check the pupils, check their grip and assess the strength in the legs.
