  1. Good luck to you as well! I'll keep you updated if I hear back from them.
  2. I am applying for their midewifery program and then going to transition to NP at the end. I don't have any L&D experience so I'm hoping that doesn't kill my chances
  3. Hi! I am waiting as well. I was notified feb 12 that it will take 6 to 8 weeks before frontier bound to be notified so that would be the 2nd week of March and after... so till then i be anxiously waiting. Good luck!
  4. Hi sorry just saw your reply. We didn't have pageburst so I'm not really sure what that is? If you email me the required books I can tell you which ones you should actually get and what you may use only once. My email is [email protected] and about the laptop, I used one to take all my notes in class and so did a few others. I highly recommend it because they go fast during lecture and you don't get a copy of the slides.
  5. It is 10 months that your actually in school. You start in May and have 6 weeks of class and then your off until fall semester. Clinicals start right away and from what we were told, the program is changing and in the summer semester it is mostly CNA and you'll be able to sit for the CNA state test if you'd like. Clinicals started right away and continue till you graduate. Class was 8 to 4 everyday until the spring semester and it changed to 9 to 4 and then you have one day off for clinical paperwork. I didn't personally work but my friend works weekends and does okay and the other works like 30 hours. It really depends on you... There isn't much "homework" but you really have to read the textbook for all the chapters and study A lot and with the 8 to 4 schedule or 9 to 4 (not sure what it'll be for you guys) it may be a little difficult If you want to work part time. We were lucky and there are two groups for clinicals. One group goes to the nursing home Thursday Friday 7 to 3 and the other group goes to night clinicals at shands from 3 to 11 Wednesday thursday. They had Saturday clinicals in the past but idk if they'd really make you guys do that so I wouldn't really count on that. We sit for the nclex towards the end of May so still have some time left!
  6. Hi! We don't graduate for another 6 weeks. April 30th! Is there somthig specific you would like to know? A few people worked during the program and we started with 24 and have 18 left at the moment. We also lost more lecture time and another instructor. Clinicals are twice a week and you have one day off during the week for "clinical paperwork". We were told the course is changing to more conceptual nursing. Not really sure what that means other then material will be more vague. If you or anyone on this feed want the textbooks or notes then please let me know because I'd like to sell them!
  7. Oh my goodness those scrubs are hideous and so stiff. They practically swallow me. And I did see the required list but professor Kamhoot for some reason said its "not correct" idk well just have to wait till class! Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the scrubs lol
  8. Wow thanks so much for letting me know. The Proffessor emailed me with 11 books that we needed which show up as recommend on the site so I'm not sure what to do about that. I figured I would just wait. Some previous students were selling their books but they wanted the same price they paid for them.....
  9. Omgsh only 150! That's great. I was looking off of amazon and I was at like 500 for all the books an that was missing a few
  10. For some reason I didn't see everyones messages till just now! Have you too ordered books yet? If you find out about the scrubs being in at the bookstore please let me know! Thank you :)
  11. I'm going to wait till the meeting on Tuesday to get all the details. I had such a hard time getting to my finger print appointment! I ended up at the jail
