  1. Love it! By taking a year off I meant taking a year to just work and yes pay off some loans. I've done full time work and school for the last 4 years now. I liked your opinion that an ADN doesn't give less care then a BSN nurse. I feel like I've lost so much time with my son already and am hoping to finish pass my nclex and get a job as a nurse so I can spend some of my free time doing things with him instead of in the office.
  2. I meant taking a year off to work as a nurse before starting a bachelors program on top of it. I'm a single mother and have worked full time while taking classes at night to finish my pre-recs and worked throughout the nursing program. I plan on taking the NCLEX as soon as possible and getting a job as a nurse, not taking a year off all together. Oh to have that luxury. I appreciate your advice thank you
  3. That's great advice thank you.
  4. That's great advice! I'm hoping to get it done asap. How did you study for the NCLEX? They have an ATI testing program that's supposed to help did you use it or have you herd of it?
  5. I'm graduating with my associates and am thinking of taking a year off before going back for my bachelors. I'm feeling burned out with school but everyone is telling me to finish my bachelors right away. How did you manage school burn out? Would you recommend going back right away?
  6. I am graduating in May 2014. What advice would you give a new nurse?
