  1. I was just wondering if there are any CRNAs in Atlanta that work in outpatient/surgery centers that would be willing to let me shadow them sometime in the next couple weeks. If you are interested, please PM me. Thanks!
  2. I was in an oral surgeons office the other day and there was a CRNA putting people to sleep for their surgeries. I was interested in how CRNAs can get opportunities like that as independent contractors in dentists offices and the like. Where do you find job offers like this?
  3. Thanks utahliz, what 12 month program are you in? there's one in atlanta where i am that is 16 months and i'd have to complete like 6 prereqs before i even enter that.
  4. Hi, I just found this forum because I have heard about the profession of CRNA and shadowed one not that long ago. I'm a biology major about to be a senior and I was wondering if you all could tell me what the best course of action would be to become a CRNA. I know that you usually have to have a BSN, but I've seen programs say that a BS is fine also as long as you have atleast a year of critical care RN experience. Do schools favor people who have BSNs over BS? How would it be possible for me to become an RN without first getting a BSN? I know of some accelerated second degree BSN programs but I'm not sure what the CRNA schools think of this. Did anyone here have a BS before becoming a CRNA? Can you all give me some advice?
