Hi, I just found this forum because I have heard about the profession of CRNA and shadowed one not that long ago. I'm a biology major about to be a senior and I was wondering if you all could tell me what the best course of action would be to become a CRNA. I know that you usually have to have a BSN, but I've seen programs say that a BS is fine also as long as you have atleast a year of critical care RN experience. Do schools favor people who have BSNs over BS? How would it be possible for me to become an RN without first getting a BSN? I know of some accelerated second degree BSN programs but I'm not sure what the CRNA schools think of this. Did anyone here have a BS before becoming a CRNA? Can you all give me some advice?
