  1. Hello ladies. I have until August to apply for next year class of LPN. How is it? Is the class hard? Do yall like it? So many questions.
  2. Are you doing your lpn at riverside? Is it hard?
  3. I am torn between doing the lpn program or RN. I feel like I can get into the lpn a lot easier and faster then bridge over later.
  4. I'm not for sure. I know before they accepted from pratt and that didn't change. So it probably hasn't changed for portage either.
  5. Pratt cc but Riverside no longer accepts it. You have to have the a&p 1, and 2 now with there new changes. You received a C in a&p and are retaking it. C is accepted. What is the reason to retake it if you don't mind me asking. I have a B so far in that class. It's hard.
  6. I'm thrilled about being able to receive an associates verses the diploma. Not thrilled about needing to go through ODU for day classes and the amount of people.
  7. Well before you could have the a&p class that was five credits and at my school they have a five credit a&p which is only one class. Instead of having the a&p 1 , 2. But yea more people.
  8. They have changed. You now have to have A&P 1&2, and nutrition. The day classes are only open to students that go through ODU, the night and weekend classes are open to students who apply only through Riverside.
  9. Hello to all! I am currently working on my prereqs and plan on applying to Riverside in August for the new associates program that starts next June. June is for the night classes and Jan start is for ODU students which is day classes. I'm worried about my gpa and am trying to bring it up with my Science classes I'm in now. Has anyone applied through Riverside only? Is the program very competitive? Is the hesi the same as the TEAS? I have so many questions since they changed the program from last year.
  10. Wow it's been almost a year later! I am still working on my prereqs. I only take 2 classes at a time. I should have the required classes to apply done by August. I am still going to try and have brought my GPA up some.
  11. Hello, I am new to Allnurses and wanted to ask how important is your GPA while taking prerequisites? I am currently taking mine and have a C average with the three classes I have taken so far. How is the Riverside program, is it hard to get in? Any other helpful related information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
