Hello allnurses readers. I am a prospective nursing student who is currently attending University of California, Riverside. When I first chose to attend UCR, I was not planning on becoming a nurse. UCR does not have a BSN program, so I must find another path to become one. So, basically, I was wondering if I should: a) Get a bachelor's degree in biology at UCR and attend an ABSN program afterwards b) Transfer to a CC, finish my pre-reqs and (attempt to) transfer to a 4-year BSN program c) Finish my pre-reqs at UCR and (attempt to) transfer to a 4-year BSN program d) Another method that I didn't think of/write Obviously a CC would be the cheapest method, but I hear that CCs around my area are very impacted at the moment, making it hard to get classes. So, allnurses readers, what would you do and why? Thanks in advance for the advice! I really appreciate your time and effort. PS: I am sorry if I posted this question in the wrong place. I am a new forum user.
