Thinking about quitting my job
Hi I am a newly licensed LPN and I just started at my current job at a LTC facility. I was completing my orientation on my third day the nurse I am supposed to he orienting with said you ate going to be doing this side by yourself. Of course I full of mixed emotions. My problem is I can't clock in to work and have gill out my Time on a paper which I was told sometimes they say they say they font get it. I can't login to the computer to give meds or chart because they said that will take another two weeks so I have to log under someone else's name. I have not filled out and w4 form or abything. Time went in last Saturday and I am thinking how am I going to get paid and they don't have any of this information. I asked to speak with the human resources because when I came before to meet with her she left and supposedly forgot she had a meeting with me. She said she was too busy to talk. I feel overwhelmed , patients complaining threatening to call state and there is a lot of things that they are just throwing me at and I don't want to loose my license . Is this normal I am not sure but my gut telling me that it is not. I don't want to quit but all the signs telling my to just leave . please help.

Case Study Help!!!!!
I am in last semester of nursing school and I am having a serious case of writers block. The case study is about making assignments, coaching and analyzing performance. We have to figure out how would we resolve the situation. Scenario:You are an LPN recently assigned to work on the skilled nursing unit of an acute care hospital. You are responsible for a team of five CNAs. One of the CNAs has worked in long-term care for many years. She is a caring employee and does a great job, but does not have a restorative approach. She would rather do for her assigned residents than encourage them to do for themselves. You notice she does not walk her residents and frequently applies vest restraints to keep the residents safe.†So I far I determined that I want to meet with the cna to discuss the behavior and the expectations for her. We can discuss what can be done to correct her behavior. I then would analyze her performance. After that I am stuck any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tonsillitis
After much research and thinking based on the elevated WBC and the yellow exudate I feel that she have a peritonsillar abscess. I don't know how I can put that in the form of an introduction. I think I should introduce the patient, age and say something about the abscess but I am unsure.

Tonsillitis
This is just a scenario and this is my first care plan. My assessment data is telling that there is more than tonsillitis going on due to the yellow exudate.

Tonsillitis
I am having trouble getting started. I am doing a patient teaching plan paper about a patient who presents to the emergency room 10 days after being treated with tonsillitis. She states that he throat is so sore she has had difficulty swallowing even liquids. Her assessment findings are: Temperature 102F, acutely swollen and reddened area of the soft palate is noted in her mouth, half occluding the orifice from the mouth into the pharynx. Yellow exudate is present. CBC reveals an elevated WBC of 16,000/mm3. I just don't know how to get started. Any help would be very helpful. They are asking me to have Introduction, assessment, analysis, cultural learning needs, patient outcome, some learning and teaching principals and implementation. I have a nursing diagnoses of ineffective airway clearance and of Impaired nutrition less than body requirements. I am trying to figure how to prioritize patient problems. I put my number one problem is her swollen tonsils with yellow exudate, then her temperature and last her inability to swallow liquids.
