  1. Medics in the ER

    Can someone point me in the direction to find out info about positives of NREMT-P working in the ER? Our EMS is going to be combined with another local service soon so our medics will no longer be considered employed by our hospital. My husband has over 25 years of service and doesn't want to leave the hospital. I understand the pros and cons of this idea but we all work very close with our medics and I feel it would be in the be best interst of the hospital and community to keep these very skilled and well trained medics. I not looking for to start a turf war, I just want info to be able to address this subject with admistration with some sense of knowledge on the subject.
