Hi there! I was wondering if any recent grads from the Johns Hopkins ABSN program could help me out with some questions. I was just accepted to the program and would love to go, but the cost is so steep! I was accepted to a lesser known program that is MUCH more affordable, and am trying to get some info about whether it is worth the investment/how soon I would be able to pay off my loans. Would anyone mind sharing with me (Pm'ing me is fine too!) where their first job after graduation was, and what their starting salary was, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, if you could share a little about whether or not you think the investment was worth it, that would be incredibly helpful! I know that Johns Hopkins is more desirable on a resume if you plan to go into academia, but I plan to pursue a master's degree and work in patient care as an NP. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated! Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi All, I am hoping that some UMass Amherst BSN grads could help me out with a few questions. I was recently accepted to both the UMass Amherst 2nd Bachelor's Degree program as well as another ABSN program at a private, well respected school. Both programs will require that I take out loans to help finance my education, but UMass is definitely the more affordable option. However, I hope to work in larger hospitals and work in a variety of settings (i.e. move out of western mass) and am wondering if any grads had trouble finding employment outside of the Amherst area. Would anyone be willing to share where they were first employed after graduating and what their starting salary was? If you would feel more comfortable PM'ing me the info, that is great! Also, could you share if you felt like your experiences at UMass prepared you for future work? Thank you in advance for all your help!!!!
