    I have worked for San Francisco General Hospital for 8 years and make $29.50 base +10% ($2.95) differential for night shift: $32.45/ hour. That includes full benefits and retirement. The current starting rate is listed at: $23.00 - 27.95 Hourly. We have had a freeze on COLA increases for a couple of years due to the bad economy and subsequent budget crisis, but that has now changed. We are due to get raises again this fiscal year (July 1, 2005). I hope this is helpful. Jay
