Thanks ladies Yeh I'm aware I wouldn't get FMLA because I would be 6 months when finishing Uni - I wouldn't get a job until after baby is born. Money is no an issue at the moment however I'm sure it would be once we have a little one around meaning id like to go back to work (even if it's just part time) when baby about 3 months. Would employers still consider me as it would be 6 months post graduation and first post?

Hello, Im just looking for some advice and information really. I am due to qualify as a children's nurse in Sept 2014, i am currently looking for jobs but not yet applying. If i was to fall pregnant within the next couple of months (im aware this might not happen so easily) this would mean not getting a job untill mid 2015. Would this put employers off? would i ruin my chances of getting a good job? I cant see how it would, as i feel this way it better than to start a job then 6 months in going off on a year maternity. Does any one have any opinions on this? Thanks
