  1. Good luck in the program, everyone!!
  2. I personally like having the hard copy of the book because sometimes I tend to wander off if I have my laptop or an electronic device I'm on during class. Lol. If you can concentrate with the eBook then that's cool too. The big text book is really only mandatory for Mondays and Tuesdays tbh.
  3. Oh, didn't realize it was the same person who answered their own question. Never mind then. Haha.
  4. I'm taking the class now. I ended up buying the book a little while ago so it is what it is. I don't think it can do any harm having it if you have the funds for it. A quiz is given before each semester and you must get a 100 on it in order to move on with the program. I'd say it's worth having if you're someone who may need to look back and review when the time comes for us to take those quizzes.
  5. Get a rolling one. It'll save your back. That bookload is no joke. Trust me. Lol.

  7. I know someone else who didn't get it yet. She called the school and they told her she should be getting it tomorrow.
  8. Yep. You have to go into the Pemberton campus and get a slip signed by the nursing department and pick a section and then go register.
  9. Hey, Did you guys get your packets yet? Mine came in on Saturday. Hopefully you all got signed up for the sections you were hoping for. I'm in 402 if anyone else is in that section.. Hi! Lol.
  10. The packets where either sent out on Friday of last week or being sent out today. I called the school last week and that's what the nursing department said.
  11. They will go over everything with us on Jan 6th! I'm getting recertified in CPR tomorrow. I know BCC offers it also..
  12. At the Pemberton campus. Mine are at least
  13. I got my welcome packet with the physical form and shot record sheet.. etc, on Saturday. Looking forward to meeting you all on January 6th!
  14. Has anyone received the packet with what we're supposed to do next? I still haven't received anything since I got my clear background check last month.
  15. Hey guys! Did anyone else get their acceptance letters for the Spring 2015 Nursing Program a couple of days ago?!?
  16. I got my acceptance letter into the spring 2015 program a couple of days ago!
  17. I got my acceptance letter a couple of days ago as well!!!! Yayyy!
  18. @mdworthy did you receive anything for spring 2o15!?!
  19. Congrats! Great that you got in. I still have 2 pre reqs to finish (which will be done by the end of this summer) so I don't think I will be receiving an acceptance letter for Fall 2014 (I got wait listed for it). I am hoping to get into Spring 2015 though!! Good luck to you in the program!
  20. Damn. That's crazy that they've been wait listing you for so long. Like.. wth! :-/ Hope we both hear some good news in the near furture!!
  21. ugh.. I'm sorry girl. That does stink. Are you a Burlington county resident? I was reading another forum, from last year I believe, and a lot of people said they got a wait list letter in April and then received an acceptance letter a few months later. When I called the school a couple weeks ago, they said that they send out acceptance letters all the way up until basically the beginning of August. So you may still have a chance to get in for this semester. Hand in an application for Spring 2015 too! I got my letter in the mail today too.. Waitlist. I wasn't holding my breath for it, seeing how I won't have all my pre reqs done until the end of July this year.
  22. Hey Mdworthy! Oh man.. 3 years!? Ugh! I will be finished with all my pre reqs at the end of this July. I'm not holding my breath to getting into fall 2014.. ( I'd have to get wait listed and if someone drips out before August then just mayyyybe I'd make it in..). But like I said.. im not holding my breath for that. Im hoping I atleast get into the spring 2015 then. I took the TEAS already and passed and my gpa is pretty good.. so just trying to make it to the end of July now...
