I was reading my book about burns and I came across "pulmonary toilet". I don't know what it means and it is not on the medical dictionary. It has something to do with airway clearance. I looked it up online but to no avail. Can someone please explain what is all about. thank you Best Answer...

Is there a time limit for stay at long term acute care hospital??? I know that they have to stay 25 days or greater but I want to know if there is a time limit.

what type of facility can a person with: incontinence, bilateral cataracts, hard or hearing, Hx. of falling, heart condition, unable to prepare meals, 10 medications a day, and difficulty dressing themselves benefit from??? I have narrowed it down to 3 and they are home health, nursing home, or assisted living. Nursing home and home health are expensive. So I am guessing its assisted living but I don't know if they can assist her 24hr because the person has difficulty seeing and hearing. Please help me out thanks.

My grandfather has this. What is this condition?? How is this different from alzimer and what usually causes it???
