  1. I know you asked quite a long time ago, but I'll answer anyway. I'm currently in the motlow nursing program (graduate in may, hopefully!) and as of right now (things may change because they have completely redone the way they schedule and group classes to make it easier for Tennessee promise students) 1) clinicals are usually on tuesdays, thursdays, or (rarely, maybe one clinical group) fridays. 2) the cost of tuition varies depending on how many credit hours you take per semester, but the cost of my tuition is around $3000 per semester. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
  2. There was a banner on the motlow website last year that was updating us since we didn't get letters until a lot later. Your best bet for information is your email. Last year they registered us after orientation in June or July.
  3. As far as I can remember the math and English subjects were fairly easy. I remember that the a and p was very hard. A and p was what really drug my average down. I scored an 89.6 overall. All the other subjects I scored from 96-98 on. As far as the math goes know the conversions. I used nothing but the recommended book to study with.
  4. Hi! I am currently a first year student and would be happy to answer any questions that anyone might have. To answer your question about how many days a week you will go, go ahead and expect monday through thursday. Mondays and wednesdays are lecture from 9-12. Then, you will have classes called "CCL's" on either tuesdays or thursdays. CCL's are always at main campus and everyone from other campuses come together for this class. These classes consist of interactive and group activities. Then, lets say your CCL is on tuesday, you will have a class called a CNL on thursday. CNL is a lab class where you learn how to do basic skills like vital signs, bedmaking, bed baths, medication administration, and various others. If you are at smyrna or mcminnville, expect to commute to main campus at least twice a week for the first few weeks for CCLs and CNLs.
  5. Maybe it was just the bridge students that got confirmation letters then. I called yesterday and got a voicemail
  6. They explain the curriculum, talk about our textbooks, a person from financial aid talks to us, we take 2 different pictures ( one for our clinical badge and another for the nursing staff where they can get to know us), and we spend a lot of time just getting to know each other. They also provide a morning snack and lunch!( well they did last year) it's pretty much a lot of fun and very exciting! missing it would be unfortunate.
  7. Has anyone that has sent an email accepting their seat received a confirmation email back? I haven't received a confirmation and last year I did. I don't know if it's because It's a different secretary or what.
  8. I'm at Moore campus also!
  9. Everyone got an email today saying we should hear something within the next 7 days
  10. They had their accreditation evaluation this year too. That also put them behind probably.
  11. I am so anxious that I'm losing sleep!
  12. No news, unfortunately
  13. Yeah that's how I was last year. I was so relieved when denial day had passed and I didn't receive anything.
  14. Last year denials all went out one day and acceptance ones went out the day after. I think every year is kinda different though so u never really know.
  15. Yes! This weekend was torturous.
  16. Lol idk. It doesn't really look like we will. Plus it might be a good thing because sometimes they send them over the course of a couple of days, and if some people get theirs today the rest of us will have all weekend to freak out about "did they even receive my application?!!". So it's probably better if they don't do the first round of letters on a Friday.
  17. The banner stayed like that 3 days after all the letters were sent out last yr. it really isn't an accurate representation.
  18. It's usually 3:30-4:30 before they send them out
  19. The anticipation is killing me! Good luck everyone!
  20. @Medicine68- main campus is my first choice also
  21. Someone on the other forum said their dosage teacher said it would be the 10th. The wait is killing me! I've been checking my email obsessively! The past years they got theirs 2014- 7th/8th of April 2013- 18th/19th of April 2012- 5th of April So it really should be anytime now.
  22. The nursing administration has put a banner at the top of the nursing page on the school website. "The Nursing Program is in the process of admitting students for Summer and Fall classes. We ask for your patience as we complete this process. A notice will be placed on the website when acceptance emails are sent to your Motlow email account". Last year it was only a week or 2 ( from when they posted this) until we got our letters. It's getting closer! last year they sent out rejection letters one day and then acceptance letters the day after. i got mine on august 8th at 3:38 pm last year. I was accepted last year, but had trouble with my financial aid. I reapplied this year(for those of you who are wondering).
