Case Management -Humana
Hello , I am interviewing for a Case Manager with Humana, work at home . 1) Anybody with experience with their montage phone interview? A feedback will be greatly welcomed. 2) How are they with flexibility I am an FNP student and will be starting clinicals at the end of this year . Do they let you work part time if needed or change around your schedule to make the 40 hours a week ( like maybe 4 - 10 hours shift with a Saturday ?) 3) what is their average salary if I make ask? they asked me how much I was expecting and I had no clue. I ave about 2 years Case Management experience in Hospital, 8 years total as an RN. Thank you all, Rachel

Travel nursing and insurance
Hello all , I wish to know what most of nursing travelers do . Do you take insurance per your assignment ? Meaning that your insurance plan may change from one company to the other ( if you use different companies depending on assignment ) Or do you have your own personal insurance so you do not have to bounce around , insurance wise? Thank you , Rachel

New to traveling...California?
Very good question . This is what I am coming across over and over talking to agencies that are actually offering me less. Same thing with my take home money . They told me if I was to make money , I should travel close to home . Are there bonus completion ?

Travel nursing questions ( novice)
Thank you so much NedRN . I went to the tool and am not clear about some terms. What exactly is per diem ?? and what is the travel pay ? Do the agency cover the whole cost of your ticket or whatever to get to the assignment ?? It is suggested that for my initial assignments If i know nobody there , I should let the agency do the housing. And do you suggest insurance with the agency ?? I am thinking about just having my own insurance and not worry about that considering the possibility of assignments through various agencies. Are overtime mostly after 8 hours or 12 hours in many places ( interested in the 3- 12 hours shift per week.)

Travel nursing questions ( novice)
Hello , I am considering taking travel nursing here in about a month . SO I basically looked up a few agencies and reached out . I need to really understand the pay of this particular job . And Agency offered me $20/hour . Saying that with an extra $6/day and an extra maybe $200 that could be left over from doing my own housing , it is worth it . Well this is not what I see. I asked why the pay is so low ? they say because of their fees.... Meanwhile another agency is guaranteeing a minimum of $30/hour and I do have to pay taxes. I asked bout their fees, and she had no clue, stated that their fees do not come from the nurse paycheck. Also anybody can give me feedback about IHS jobs ( as far as travel assignment) ? Thank you all for your time .

Which school ?
Hello , I am finishing my BSN program at Ohio University ( OU ) this year. I want to enroll in the spring cohort for a FNP program with a minor in healthcare management if possible.I am having a hard time making a final decision . I am not a big fan of a lot of writing and discussion boards an replies. OU cost seems reasonable. And you are allow to take it part time- full time. I hear it is one classes every 7 weeks with a week of break in between, but there may be a lot of writing involved? . I am also looking at the University of Cincinnati. It seems the cost are higher. Anybody knows how does classes go? I want a program that is accredited , not all bout writting , and with some flexibility ( part time) in case of life events, and somewhat reasonable financially ( especially if scholarships available) . Of course i wish to take it online. I would like to hear from actual students from various programs. Thank you very much
