yes, and If you are accepted, an additional Seat Deposit fee must be paid; last semester it was $250.00; the UTHSCSA website lists it as $500, but I don't know if that is an updated amount or if it showed that way last semester and they just still only required $250 instead. We shall see.

Fellow applicants, if you have any criminal activity that you know will show up on your fingerprint background check report (to include arrests), please visit the TX B of N website and look at the Declaratory statement instructions; it's a good idea to get started on all the paperwork you may need to gather to send along with your statement. Then only direction I have heard from B of N is that everything is a case-by-case basis. The sup. app. from last semester was pretty simple to complete- 3 short essay prompts (like interview questions). This period is a lot of "hurry up and wait" time. Once you have been conditionally accepted- then it gets busy: make sure you have all your immunizations complete, esp. the hep B series. The Fall peeps started orientation today; from what I have seen, we will have Plenty stress to come (and excitement of course) so-- try your best to relax right now; the emails will come, I know its no fun playing the waiting game.

Kayedt, here were my stats: Math & Science- 3.93; Overall- 3.45; TEAS- 84.5; **this might be interesting for ya: There was about 160 people accepted, there were around 18 people with higher overall calculated score (all the stats combined) than mine.

Here's how the Fall app process went: app deadline- 2/1/14; -2/10/14: email from UTHSCSA confirming app received -3/17/14: email from UTHSCSA stating they are still processing and we will receive notice no later than 3/27 -3/25/14: email from UTHSCSA stating we will receive the supp app on 3/28 -3/28/14: supp app received via email -4/10/14: email from UTHSCSA admissions point of contact stating that they are still scoring one group -4/14/14: received conditional acceptance offer email

If anyone does NOT want me to disclose the timeline of the Fall 2014 admissions process-- PLEASE say so and I will respectfully not post it. I understand if anyone would like to be surprised and in suspense. If no one minds, I will post it around 330 pm CST today, 8/15.

Howdy all; I am a carry over applicant from Fall 1014; I was accepted but my fingerprint background check is still with the Board of Nursing for further review; im over the huge disappointment of not starting this current Fall but now looking forward to Spring; I understand fully what you all are going through with the waiting, yes- its VERY nerve racking; checking your email all day (and even around 2 am if you're like me); I will try to put together the time line of the emails I received-- I will give you the dates as they show relate to Fall timeline and you can relate it to this Spring process
