@ceridwyn I am aware of that and thank you for the reminder. I have read a few lines directing those people who want to work there to take a student visa route. Is this still applicable? Given the hundreds of thousands of unemployed and underemployed nurses here in our country, studying for a couple of years to land a job in NZ is still better than being sidelined here in my motherland. What are your thoughts?

Hi whitecap99, I registered here because I was inspired with your story. Like you, I'm also a registered nurse and I graduated way back 2009. It was not until June of last year that I was able to practice my profession, but in a limited role as a volunteer nurse. I want to take a leap of faith in your story as I have already decided to leave the country to pursue my career as a nurse as I don't want to rot here and become useless as I am. I know I am but a stranger to you, but if you find it in your heart to help me and other Pinoys as well, kindly do. I don't know where to start honestly, but if I need to study in New Zealand to be successful, then that is what I am going to do. I just want to know how to do it. I can also go on to research, but a little guidance from you would be a greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope we can someday be as successful as you.
