May I ask what your GPA is ? I just want to know how much they care about GPA because you said it's your second time applying .

This is my first time and I did have the evaluation form with me because I met with the counselor before I applied for the program . I had the form with me when I filled out the application but they said we don't need it .

They didn't get the evaluation form from me , they said we don't need we have it online , we only need the application and the teas result

Just the application , and I send the electronic version of my teas result I haven't sent them my transcripts since I took all of my classes in LACCD , did I miss anything ? I called them and they said we can't help you

how can we find out if our application is complete or not ?

Does anybody know if fall 2014 had waitlist ?

it is based on the GPA according to this quote from LAVC website "Nursing Program application and transcripts will be evaluated using the criteria from the Chancellor's Office Validation Study. The Chancellor's Office Validation Study is based on predicting student success in the Nursing Program. The Chancellor's Office Validation Study evaluates the student's overall grade point average (GPA), the GPA of Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and English, and the repetitions of Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology.This evaluation criterion establishes a cut score”. Students must receive a cut score of 80 or above on the Chancellor's Office Validation Study to be considered for admission into the Nursing Program."

Do you know how the process is ? Is it mostly based on the GPA ? I've heard that they have a cutoff for the GPA and then if they number of people with the desired GPA are more than their available space they do the lottery

Guys , does anybody have any information about how the waitt list worked last year ? If anybody got in from the waitlist last year ? There is no information about this

I'm just disappointed, it is almost impossible for someone who got into this program to withdraw her spot. We just have to hope that among 10 transfers some give up their spotS. Impossible

The waitlist for Fall 2014 consisted of 7 students and we have not removed any students from the waitlist.
