  1. ok guys, i tortured myself for 2 long long long days and found out i passed. however i have huge advice for all of you. Kaplan was great, and the practice tests were helpful. BUT...study mosby's or saunders too. my nclex was ALL content based, and kaplan is not. if you practice the three or four strategies they give you great, but do it with a content based review like suanders. I would not have passed if i had not used that. I also used nclex made incredibly easy for my content review. seriously. the nclex was 10x harder than kaplan, and thanks to my saunders review, it really really halped me out. i had no idea how much i didn't know until i used that CD, and alot of that content was on my nlcex. Good luck!
  2. i only had one, but it wasn't really a diet question, it was more nutrition, about increasing vitamin c or something. I think it had to do with the liver, and the choices were something like, take more vit c, take tylenol when i don't feel well, call md if i get an infection (or something) and another one that i can't remember. I didn't have any specifics like the diet for CF or Gout or anything that i expected. i would still study them though. i did have a choose all that apply on the signs of a LEFT sided cva, so brush up on your brain stuff. I had a ton of peds disease processes and OB stuff. good luck.
  3. I passed! i have checked the computer about 1000 times to make sure it didn't make a mistake. i was sure i failed. I came home and looked up all these answers that i had gotten wrong, and i was sure that i had failed. i can't beleive it. i'm going shopping! holy crap everyone. they are going to turn me loose with a liscence! watch out! karen, RN...for about 20 minutes now! :rotfl: :Melody:
  4. did anyone take thier boards in colorado?
  5. I am in utter agony, hence my screen name. i took the nclex this morning and it shut off at 75 questions. I had at least 5 check all that apply and fill in the blank. I have never heard of anyone having that many. I came home, and tortured myself, looking up alot of questions, and I know I got several wrong. I am so terrified that i failed. does it mean anything if you got alot of prioritizing questions? someone told me that those are the harder questions. is that true? how do you lower your anxiety level? any advice? aghhhh!!! :uhoh21:
