I'm not here to get into a passive aggressive competition with anybody.

I have chronic pain. Nerve damage and degenerative joint disease in my right knee. I can't stand up all day. Sometimes I don't sleep. I need varied physical positions to make it through the day. I know I can manage it with something part time, but nobody says anything nice when I ask about part time possibilities.

Thank you. Wondering where your from though that vet experience is not comparable human. It's actually more challenging(different species, different organ systems, different drug interactions). The vet clinic is much better than the local hospital here

I have a disability. It does not interfere with me lifting. I hesitate to give out specifics of my PPD, as so many people are so quick to tell me everything that I can't do. I am in nursing school now. What jobs could there be for me? Is there anything part time for an RN?

Thanks for the advice! I've had myself, mainly, telling me about what I can't do for many years already. No more, though. I know there's a place for me. I am excited about healthcare and the biology of healthcare and through a lot of vet clinic experience I know that iam very good at it.

I'm in a non traditional student a permanent partial disability. I'm worried about telling my instructors that I need part time clinical hours. I feel like if I tell them now they will hold it against me all the rest of the way through school. It does not affect my ability to lift. Is there a job out there for a 2 year RN out of school? How does one get into cardiovascular research?
