  1. I will be taking NCLEX in about 4 weeks. I was thinking about taking it in Texas to get a compact license. How soon after I get my compact license can I get an endorsement for the state of Alabama (which isnt part of the compact)? If i test in Texas, would I have to work for a period of time before getting an endorsement elsewhere. My mother lives in Texas and father Alabama. I'm undecided where I want to work, but I just want to have options. Thanks
