  1. Hi Marin, Could you clarify what you mean? Does this mean getting UW admissions out to the accepted ABSN students? Or getting ABSN decisions out to people on the waitlist?
  2. Wow, That's a tough one. Has it been a while since you took a math course? Maybe try going online to find some compass math practice tests to help prepare you. I want to say you are definitely competitive with 106 points.
  3. Tropicalyeit: They prefer CNA's over MA's because first quarter is pretty much being a CNA (though faculty would never say that). You do things at clinical like lifting, positioning, vitals, dressing, toileting, etc... You work alongside CNA's at your clinical experience and report on and off to the RN. Missalliss: Definitely apply anyway! You may get in! You'll only be out the application fee. If you don't get in, be sure to meet with the program director to go over your application. She will make sure the points were calculate correctly, and you should ask her how you can up your points. Where are you volunteering? Can you volunteer more shifts to get your hours done faster? Do you have both bonus points for your application? I used nutrition and psychology 101.
  4. Katie- The minumum acceptance for spring was 102.4, but I had 101.5 and I was third on the alternate list and got called on the first day to be offered a spot. What are you points looking like?
  5. I got in!!! I was third on the alternate list, and I was called yesterday and offered a spot!!
  6. What's your name? I'll be at orientation on the 2nd! My name is Holly :)
  7. That means y'all got in!! Congrats!!
  8. I got my alternate letter today!!!! The minimum acceptance was 102.40!!! I hope to god I can get a spot!!
  9. Ah, EMAIL! I would LOVE that!!! Except I would be constantly pressing refresh instead of just waiting for my mailman.
  10. Just got my mail, no letter today...
  11. I feel like 107 is extremely competitive!! Its reassuring to know someone else is in the same boat. I'm ready-ing an application for this current period. I figured, why not!
  12. I just calculated I have a 3.5 gpa! I always thought that was good! Hopefully we get those letters by the weekend! Looking at other semesters acceptance points, I'm starting to feel very doubtful of acceptance. Especially with last quarters ridiculously high 106.75!! I see it that everyone who got under, are re-applying again this quarter. So, I plan on retaking microbio. If I get an A I can add 6 points, which will hopefully get me up to 108 :) Trying to stay optimistic...
  13. Ugh, I got rejected once and I was beyond bummed. I couldn't imagine what 3 times would do to me. I hope you get in!! It sounds like you really deserve it :} I figure if I don't get in this time... I can retake another class. :/ I just hope it doesn't come down to that..
  14. I work in an assisted living community where AL is optional. I had zero prior experience to getting this job. I started at 11.50, and now I make $12 an hour, with a dollar extra per hour on the weekends. I definitely don't have it as bad as some communities do. The majority of the work I do is medication assistance, showers, and dressing.
  15. Wow!! 105.45 and you couldn't get in prior? I feel like the minimum points per quarter just keep going up!! Valentines day is exactly 6 weeks from the application due date... soon I'll be avidly checking the mail box! I hope hope hope the total points this quarter aren't that high...
