  1. Mentalheslthadvocate--although I'm not Jewish, I do have tattoos lol. And as for the Bible Belt thing--don't worry. I have lived in East TN all of my life, and things are changing :)
  2. Ok awesome--I'll join! That's fine about sticking together lol--I just didn't know if that group was for everyone or not. See ya on Facebook!
  3. Thx CNMhopeful! Congratulations to u too as well! Jackpp--congratulations!!!! Is there a fb group for AG yet?
  4. I just called admissions and I have been accepted into the pre-specialty AGPC program! See everyone in the fall!
  5. I submitted mine on dec 4 because I was waiting on a doctor to do my LOR. Smh. Such is life.
  6. They had the committee meetin this afternoon, and decisions have been made. (Per admissions) All of us should hear either tomorrow or Friday. Good luck everyone!!
  7. Jenn4-I completely agree! Your comment cracked me up haha.
  8. I'm still waiting as well--AGPC. This is so agonizing! Vandy is all I can think about lol.
  9. selizabethk--I live 4 hrs from Nashville, so if I get in, I will be doing my specialty year online and doing clinicals in my hometown. My mother did the whole AGPC program online, as she was a direct-entry applicant, and she didn't have any problems finding her own clinical site and preceptor. She did say that her friends that stayed at Vandy for the specialty year were driving extremely far to their clinical sites because Nashville was flooded with NP students and clinical sites were full. You could do the specialty year online as well--everyone has to come Vanderbilt for a few days each semester, but it can be done :) my mom is also doing the DNP program online, and drives to Nashville once a semester. I hope I don't get wait listed, but I guess it'd be better than getting outright rejected lol.
  10. selizabethk--when did u find out u were accepted? I applied to AGPC, and am still waiting. My mother didn't find out she got in until mid-march (4 yrs ago), so I'm trying not to freak out just yet. She's finishing up her DNP now at Vanderbilt.
  11. heart_and_hands --where is the admitted students page at? I called vandy this am, and my application is still awaiting decision, but the lady said they were still trying to catch up with everyone.
  12. Just called admissions. STILL awaiting decision! This is getting ridiculous. I'm going for AGPCNP...guess my program is taking their time to make decisions.
  13. Letters are being sent out today via snail mail, so be looking for em to arrive sat or Monday. Admissions office said to call tomorrow and they most likely will have an answer.
