Congrats to all of you FNPs !!!See you in June!! Okeefel- I started another program last fall, but withdrew because I had such a good experience with the fNU non matric classes that I took- I really feel that they set you up to succeed... I know of three great midwives who have graduated from FNU in the last ten years and they all agree that the program is a challenge, but totally do-able. Go with your gut and revel in the beauty of having a choice!

okay, good to know that you all would be planning on arriving Sunday night as well! I guess I'll call tomorrow and ask if they will have a place to stay, or if I need to find a hotel. I'm planning on taking the shuttle from the airport, so getting to the hotel, then to the school might be tricky- If Hyden is as rural as where I'm coming from, there isn't a hotel or cab service anywhere close... I hope that all you FNP folks get your good news soon!

If I flew in to Lexington on the Sunday, would they have a place to stay, or would I have to have an alternate accommodation? I hate to be flying in at the last minute, risking being late. Does anyone else have that concern or am I too obsessive compulsive?

I can't take much more of this- sorry to have gotten everyone's hopes up for a Friday response-another weekend to wait I guess...

The person I spoke to sounded like she was pretty certain that it would be happening between Friday and early Monday at the latest... I have been accused of being overly optimistic on occasion though...

Hi everyone..I called today and was told that the office would have the list of acceptances by Thursday, however, it would take time to enter it, so probably not until Friday night, but maybe not until Monday would we be notified... At least now there appears to be an end in sight...somewhere...

I can deal with Friday-just not another weekend...

Oops- I got kicked off before I finished that last msg- Anyway, Bebbercorn and Murphy, I'm looking into flights out of Bradley $450 round trip to Lexington, but according to Expedia there aren't many seats left, so being able to plan would be really great... Are you guys planning to fly or drive?

Oops- didn't finish that last sentence before it kicked me off- As I was saying... anyway, Bebbercorn, I'm looking into flights out of Hartford and it looks like Delta is the only airline that flies into Lexington, or maybe that's just what I'm getting off of Expedia- I think flights are about $450 leaving on the Sunday, returning on Thursday- were you going to fly or drive?

I'm coming from NH - A hundred times a day I check my email, and I keep going back and forth between excited and anticipating the best, to discouraged and anticipating a rejection... This is not easy to take... Any

I just saw on FNU Facebook that they were still reviewing apps and that it would "still be a bit" Before we would know anything...

No way! Another two weeks? This is so anxiety provoking!

Hi everyone- I called today- they said that apps were sent for review, but that scores weren't in yet - they also said that it would probably be the second week in April before we would know- so we can all take a deep breath and try not to think about it for another ten days, or so...

I applied for CNEP- when I talked to them last, they said that it would be sooner than it used to be, because they understand that such a long wait could interfere with our response to other schools that might be accepting us, so I'm really thinking that it will be less of a wait- IF I got accepted, I'd need to get a plane ticket, so the sooner the better- They made you apply again, even though they had already accepted you? That's rough...

Okay, so when do you guys think it's reasonable to call and ask if they have any idea of when we'll know? Or is that just being pushy and neurotic?

Hey everyone- has anyone heard anything yet about Class 127 acceptances? Does anyone know if they send acceptances and rejections via email?

It has been excruciating! I am so obsessed with checking my email, every couple of hours, or so, fully knowing that they haven't responded yet, but I let my OCD take over (LOL)... I hope we hear soon, too!

I applied for the CNEP - I submitted my app back in January, thinking it was for Class 125, but then found out that I was in the 127 app group, so it's been a while... Anyway, I've wanted this for a long, long time, so I hope I get in... I am from New England- where are you guys from? An answer by next week would be great- This waiting is a killer...

I am waiting for 127, too... Last time I spoke with admissions , I was told that they were trying to get their responses out faster...

Anyone out there waiting to hear if they were accepted into Frontier's Class 127?

Oh well... Apparently my application is going to be reviewed with the Class 127 apps on the 14th... I worked so hard to get it in by January 25th, so I'm not sure what happened- I'm hoping that if I am accepted, I can get into 125's Bound date anyway- my youngest graduates from kindergarten on the 12th of June (the last day of Bound for 127) Knowing ten days from the date of the app deadline would be great- Good luck to all of you who have your news!
