Things to consider when doing NANDA's for baby... What was the baby's gestational age? if early..there are some easy NANDA's if baby was fullterm then where there any complications with the delivery (shoulder dystocia, problems with the umbilical cord, problems with the placenta, positioning of the baby--breach, etc.--, second stage of labor lasting longer than 2 hours, etc.) knowing about the delivery can help form NANDA's for baby, and mom for that matter. Another thing to look at is mom's nutrition/health during pregnancy--did she have gestational DM, Preeclampsia, eclampsia, did she have prenatal care, ect. I hope this helps :-) Good Luck.
