I am currently in CO and involved in Peer Assistance as an alternative discipline for diversion. I have a BSN and background of 5+ years ED experience. I am trying to get a job but with all of my restrictions I am having a very hard time. Does anyone know of jobs that would fit with my restrictions? - no overnight shifts -work under supervision of RN -not to practice alone in an office -no home health, staffing agencies, float, hospice, on call or other isolated positions -no access to or administration of controlled substances - no access to rx pads, computer prescribing system, or DEA reg numbers - no phone in rx

I need some help with adding my travel and agency work to my resume. I worked for the same agency doing a travel position as well as agency aaaaand a one week strike. Would it be best to list the agency, position, hospital(s), then responsibilities ? Or should it be set up by category, travel/agency/permanent/strike? should I list in a separate part what computer charting systems I have used or list it in responsibilities/duties/(whatever you want to call it) section? One last thing. Can anyone explain to me the reasoning behind listing responsibilities on a nursing resume? I mean I'm an ED nurse without trauma experience, you would think management would know what goes on and what we do day in and day out on the floor. But maybe it's for those managers who sit in their office and only come out when a patient complains about not having enough dilaudid and threaten to hurt us.... Who knows?!? - sincerely travel nurse resume dummy :)
