Registration Verification from Saudi Council
Sorry for the late response prinsesitayas. It was the branch manager here in Qassim, who wrote that letter. Actually, I tried to ask for another one before leaving the kingdom next month, but he said I should secure a certificate good standing for that as he won't be giving out such a letter anymore.

@Misplacedpens, I think that's also an option but you have to be careful because they might verify so try to to talk to your employer or reference about this..If you want, I was also wondering before to just make my work experience in the Philippines only..You still have enough time to weigh your options and I hope you'll make the right decision..

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
@prinsesitayas, I guess you have to focus on your exams first if you really wanna pursue your UK application. Got no clue about the new process but I have a feeling that the papers/forms would be just the same, it's just that they will send these documents online like what they did to our unregistered practice verification form. Once you pass your CBT, contact someone to accomplish that form for you in Jeddah.

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
Hi, I just came back from duty.. I am sorry to hear that but you are correct, they are no longer issuingan explanation letter/ certification for unregistered practice. I contacted the branch manager here as well to ask for another original copy of the letter they issued before but he said, I should now secure a certificate of good standing. My suggestion to you now is to have the unregistered practice form from the NMC signed/dated/stamped by SCFHS Jeddah. By the way, it was promking12 who accomplished the form on my behalf (although they accepted the certification/explanation letter from SCFHS Qassim, thanks very much to him) cos I really made sure that they won't look for another outstanding requirement again, and it worked for me. Hope this helps.

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
Misplacedpens, the only branch that accommodates this kind of request (for unregistered practice verification) is the Jeddah branch as the branch here in Qassim doesn't..(sorry for the late post) I read about your succeeding posts and I don't know what to say actually. God bless.

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
Hi, I hope the following could help: Although they accepted the explanation letter alone, I still secured the unregistered practice form in Jeddah thru a friend I met here on allnurses.com who went for exit early this month. If you accomplish that, no more question is asked based on what is stated on that form. From what I remember, I sent him copies of my SCFHS license, professional accreditation certificate and employment certificate along with that form but you may add other documents if so you wish just to be sure. For the payment, try to send her the amount needed for this form (+ courier fee) and ask her to borrow a credit card from a friend or co-worker and pay the fees incurred later (as the bank notifies the card holder for every transactions made everywhere, the lender should not worry). Once the NMC receives all of the outstanding documents, they will scan & allocate these to your file within 2 weeks. After which, you'll be on the decision queue that usually is around 30 to 90 days. However, it may vary as some only waited for 3 weeks only. Good luck!

NMC UK Stage 2
Thanks! After 11 months of heartbreak due to outstanding requirements that need re-sending (transcript 3x, unregistered practice from Saudi 2x and the Phils 2x) here comes the DL. Also those clearances complicated everything as it was difficult to secure an NBI from Saudi. God is great as He made the unbelievable possible. This is an advance birthday present for me cos I'll celebrate mine in 2 days time.. I'll pray for you as well!

Finally, I'm through with this stage sweety2136 as the NMC issued the decision letter today. Thank God!

This is just in - the decision letter regarding my application is finally out today. Praise God! Thanks to all of my friends here from allnurses, who prayed and cheered for me while I was going through a lot of struggles, which is more or less a year now, especially to ************* who processed my Unregistered Practice form in Jeddah. For those who are on queue, the decision on your application will surely be out soon! God bless and hope to see you in the UK!

NMC UK Stage 2
I phoned them a few minutes back and was told that mine is still in the decision queue. (Because of that I remembered my favorite afternoon snacks like camote cue, just to smile away the nerves of waiting).

NMC UK Stage 2
How I wish they would issue the decision before this day ends. Fingers crossed, may they give us what we are waiting for.

NMC UK Stage 2
My tentative flight back to the Philippines will be on 8 May. For the UK, on the other hand, there is no schedule yet as it will all depend on the decision.

Excited at the same time getting nervous because of the pressure since I am no longer renewing my contract here.

NMC UK Stage 2
Yup, she received her DL after a very short waiting period, 16 working days I guess. Today's the 15th after my last requirement was scanned and allocated in to my file. Yup, may good fortune be ever on our side to finally receive the decision after a very long time of stress and struggles. God bless us.

NMC UK Stage 2
Hello. My papers are still on decision queue since 29 Jan 2015. Hope to hear the good news very soon. What about you? Any update on your application?

I was also asked to submit breakdown in hours twice but when they noticed that it was my school's fault that they don't receive what they need, the assessor decided to find the tool/formula in order to come up with the number of hours. However, I still asked the school registrar to furnish another one accompanied by a letter explaining how to convert the units into hours. I think this document is en route to London now. (I am still here in Saudi right now but I was hired by the Northwick Park Hospital and I have to wait for the decision before I can be issued with a CoS).

The period of my unregistered practice is between 26 June 2012 and 10 September 2012.10

That form came after the assessment of my documents. But try to contact the NMC to dispatch it for you. If you have at least 12 months of registered practice, I think that would be enough as it its really hard to secure, based on my experience, the signature and stamp of the nursing councils....I'm afraid we cannot post photos here.8

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
Hello Lexie. They also refused to sign the form for me but wrote a certification acknowledging the 2 months of unregistered practice I rendered prior to SCFHS registration. I'll just send you a private message for that. 17

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
If you declared that (2 years of unregistered practice) on your application, say on your pack and employer references, there should be an unregistered practice form to back that up.3

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
Hi samosam! The verification form is issued by the NMC, which should be signed, stamped and dated by the in-charge of verification where the applicant holds or has held a registration. Then it should be sent directly to the NMC by the responsible regulatory body. Hope it could help.7

You are correct coolplanet2003.

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
To samosasam. It is a certficate from the NMC that a regulatory body must issue. This must confirm that the practice undertaken without registration in a territory/state/country in a given time would provide no barriers to registration as a nurse.

Registration Verification from Saudi Council
To all of us who are having trouble with the Unregistered Practice, the NMC agent adviced me this afternoon to have their Form accomplished by the SCFHS or PRC or any nursing regulatory body. For some stroke of luck or whatever that it contained, they did not ask for further verification after they received the Letter from SCFHS for my 3 months of Unregistered Practice when my file was re-assessed last month. Anyway, for now that's the best advice from them as they should get what they ask for or else further documents might be asked, which means delaying the decision, more stress to endure and hundreds or thousands of money to spend.
