I'm so sorry í ½í¸ª I feel like they're making it so difficult- it's unfair. So many places don't accept credits after 5 years and I'm pretty much at that mark with some courses, so I can't afford to wait any longer. I would've been better off not getting a bachelors.

I also took microbio at USF, and it doesn't show up on my transcript in webadvisor so I'm under the impression that it won't be accepted. It also says I haven't completed college algebra but I was able to skip that and go straight to other math courses, but it looks like that won't count either. It's a bummer because it means this was a waste of time and money, and I'm not about to retake those courses and wait another 6 months to a year. ☹️️

Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and i was hoping to receive advice from nursing students/nurses. I am currently an undergrad student- biomedical major and only 20 credits away from earning my degree, the problem is I have lost all interest in this major and I can't even imagine myself finishing this degree due to my lack of interest in it. I spoke to an advisor who suggested that switching my major to nursing would be detrimental to me since it will mean 3 more years in undergrad, therefore i would exceed 120 credits and have to pay surcharges. If I change my major to health sciences I would need 36 more credits, but the classes appeal to me so much more because they are focused on specific areas of the medical field. At this point, I believe my best option would be to complete my bachelor's degree and then enroll in an accelerated 2nd bachelors nursing program, and later become a nurse practitioner. My dilemma is that I don't believe I would be able to finish my bachelors as well as 2 nursing pre-requisites before application deadlines for next year. I would like to attend a public Florida university with an esteemed program, but I'm finding this to be a difficult transition. I feel that a nursing school advisor would be able to give me the bed advise, but the nursing advisors at my current university only assist nursing or pre-nursing students, and all other academic advisors are not as informed about nursing programs. I wish I could erase everything I've done in school and start from scratch- but I can't. So ANY advice or similar experiences are very much appreciated! (and sorry for such a long post )
