  1. I think it is a solid stethoscope. I used it throughout nursing school and now almost three years into my ICU career it has not failed me. It not a bad idea to have your name engraved on the bell though.
  2. I agree with Blinky. If you go to a podiatrist or a chiropractor, you can have custom orthotic insoles made. Most insurance plans will cover the first set. Considering they can last up to ten years its not a bad deal at all.
