  1. Well initially, I thought to myself I can study on my own and I don't need a review course. But with Hurst and Kaplan coming to our class and giving their presentation, it makes me nervous to study on my own. I feel that the review courses charge so much because they know people will pay the price to be "guaranteed" to pass. Thanks for your comment. I have plenty of time to think about it, I'm just curious what all others think. I may just study on my own this summer going over all the content learned up to that point.
  2. Hey fellow nursing students or nurses, I am struggling with which NCLEX prep course to go with. Hurst came to our class and gave a presentation but I am skeptical about paying $350 for a book that will go over content we are taught anyways. Please tell me your experience with which you used. Also, when should I start to study for the NCLEX? I heard 2 weeks prior to testing would be just fine. It's hard to say what works for me in school. I am very unhappy with my program and the teachers aren't the best at writing questions. I am in my third semester, graduate in December, and can say I've only really learned a lot my second semester and had great teachers to thank for that. Any help, questions, or suggestions from you would be great!
