I am a Registered nurse in the U.K and i would like to obtain Australian PR and AHPRA registration as i am planning to move to that country in future. I understand that i may require to do the Bridging Programe in Australia despite being RN in the U.K as i am trained outside E.U. Am I eligible to apply for Australian PR while i am in the U.K.? I wonder if anyone could guide me in this regard. P.s - i have a valid IELTS and more than 3 months exp in NHS hospitals.

Do anyone here has to go through the process of applying for the u.k visa.?

That's a great piece of information..thanks a lot promking.. I have already sent such an email to nmc and it's two weeks now.they have not yet replied. If this works, this would definitely save a month for all

If you have applied in june why do you think nmc won't let you take up onp .As far as I think ., you are eligible for onp. Besides, the jan 31 deadline is to return the 2nd pack.

If you have just completed the 2 nd stage why don't you wait 90 days for the decision .you may seek updates on your application from nmc in the meantime.If you are certain with your documents regarding clarity it won't be long before you recieve you DL.

@ Edong I didn't get any unregistered practice verification form along with the 2 nd pack.what should I do now .Does this mean I may lose 2 months more? I wonder if anyone could post the snap of unregistered practice verification form here.I hope a statement from the registration authority in this regard would save much time
