  1. Hello Guys! My plans are to earn some kind of license before i go back to college, that way I can earn a reasonable income and study. I graduated HS with my associates in Biology and I Plan to go back and finish my bachelors. My Question is: Should I use those 2 Years I jumped ahead and get my LVN Certificate(1 Year)or My Associates Degree in Nursing(2Years)? what is the difference in things they do and Don't Working Hours? Flexiable Schedules? Working Area? I'm A CNA right now, however I want to know if I can do a little better
  2. So I passed Cna exams both written and skills on the first try and im very proud of myself being only 17 now the real challenge is finding a job! Hospitals here in Texas well here in my city wont hire you unless you have a HS Diploma/G.E.D i know i can do this job and they said so themselves that i was very qualified for the job but since im still in HS They cant hire me So im here to ask Where Are Some Places Where they Hire 17 CNA's Any Help Please i really want to start working ASAP!
  3. Also Can A CNA Work In A Clinic? Just Like Do Vitals? I Just Wan to start working in the field and get experience In My High school I Will Graduate With My Associates And A MOS Certification (Medical Office Specialist)
  4. Thanks I Appreciate A lot And well does it help that im a registered blood donor and that i have over 8 months (340 hours and counting) volunteering at the Mcallen Medical Center and so on?
  5. Hello everyone! Recently graduated Nurse Assistant here just waiting for the state exam in the next week or so :) i've studied really hard and im already applying for job theres only one little problem! I'M STILL IN HIGHSCHOOL! A Junior to be exact, Any help on where to start off with? Another thing is that im a Dual-Enrollment student at my local college (South Texas College) meaning im taking college course, so what do i put under my education if there is not a "Dual-Enrollment" option. I did the whole CNA program on my own and im ready for this career for now later on i will go get my BSN in nursing and then hopefully become a CRNA Thanks in advance for the help Private message me if you have any questions or tips for me would appreciate it a lot :)
