  1. My college is saying the nursing program will take about three years to complete for a full time student. But it will take me four years to complete my bachelor's, so will I just be doing general classes my freshmen year? Should I be taking prerequisite classes as soon as I start college? Another thing is my college application is saying to go for the AA degree if I'm just doing prerequisite courses. If I'm going for an AA degree my first year, am I supposed to switch to an AS degree for the rest the three years? Is that even possible? I thought I couldn't use an arts degree in the nursing field? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask these questions. I'm really, really confused - I shot the guidance counselors an email with the same questions and they haven't replied yet so I guess I should try here too. Thanks. * Edit: I realized I put this in the wrong area... this was probably supposed to go into pre-nursing student.
