  1. Haven't posted on here in a while, How is everyone that started the NAU class doing? How is the class going? My ASU summer course started May 19th and i'm about halfway done with it! It's a small class, there are only 24 of us I believe and about half I'd say are doing the CEP and the other half are doing the traditional RN-BSN program. Anyways, I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing :)
  2. How exciting! Did someone from your cc email you about clinicals? I'm enrolled for classes but haven't received anything from my college about clinical sites. I guess more info is to come
  3. I've turned in my registration paket and once you turn it in they go over it right there with you and they will register you for your classes. Atleast that was the process that I went through with mcc
  4. I don't know if its the same for all the colleges but i'm taking the math refresher class and it is after lecture from 12:30pm-1:20pm on monday
  5. For my work I always need a current cpr and annual tb so those were taken care of. And yeah thanks for the link scrubgirl, lots of great info!
  6. I didn't get anything about books, stethoscopes etc.. But you're right we'll probably get more info once all the paper work is returned! I feel like we're slowly being given tiny pieces of the puzzle! I was about ready to turn in my packet until I realized that I need to take the "Health Care Provider" CPR class which I'll be taking this Friday. I just have the regular CPR right now. I took a CNA course through MCC about 2 years ago that required the immunizations so luckily I already had them ready this time around. Blood Titers will probably be the easiest if you don't have shot records! That's what I did, which just left the 2 step tb and the tetorifice shot. Keeping track of Immunization records can be a pain though!
  7. Hmm I didn't get any info about the dress code at all in my packet from MCC. Just info about ordering the nurse pack.
  8. I got mine from heart savers too earlier this year in feb. I did the CPR and first aid together. I guess i'll need to take it again for the healthcare provider level
  9. Have any of you done your CPR? I have a current CPR card for my work but I don't know if it is "healthcare Provider" will the card say it on there if it is?
  10. It definitely is a ton of info! I'm hoping to turn everything in on Thursday to Mcc!
  11. Oh i forgot to mention that they send it by email in an attatchment
  12. I did get mine, about 3 days ago from mcc. Its a registration packet that you have to complete to be able to register for classes. In the packet is the "Health and Safety Documentation checklist" for immunizations, the health care provider signature form that your doctor fills out, copies of cpr and first aid cards and fingerprint clearance card , and the completed background check. For mine it says I have until may 15th to turn everything in, not sure for everyone else. They also give info about the orientation mine at mcc is aug 19th. Some of the other colleges might be waiting to send out the info once they do the second round of applicants. Try calling your collages and see what they say! Have any of your background checks been completed? Mine is still "pending"
  13. Have you guys gotten your packet info from your community colleges?
  14. I saw this after I answered but yay i'm glad you got it :)
  15. Yes I got it via email and it is placement into the maricopa nursing program at the school that you'll be attending. Mine was for Mesa Community College. In the email they congratulate you and mention that you need to sign and fax a confirmation of intent that they will send in a letter by mail. The form needs to be faxed by april 8th. They mention that even though we've already done the CEP confirmation we still need to sign and fax this one, which is specifically for the maricopa colleges.
  16. I just received my placement letter! :) It's all becoming official :)
  17. Does anyone know when we'll be officially placed into the Maricopa Nursing and receive our emails? I've already registered for my summer ASU class which starts in may and my Fall registration opens tomorrow the 19th for the fall classes. I feel so strange registering for fall with asu when I haven't even been "officially" placed into the Maricopa nursing program through MCC. How is the process going for everyone in the NAU CEP?
  18. Congrats!! :)
  19. Thanks for the reminder! Slowly but surely we'll get there! I just registered for my ASU summer class. It starts in May only 2 months away! Now just waiting for the MCC info packet. Are any of you ladies reading anything or doing something to prepare for the the program? I feel like I should be doing something proactive while I wait
  20. Yes, I applied to both schools but changed my mind last minute and put ASU as my first choice, I was planning on doing NAU because it's a lot less expensive but went with ASU/MCC as my number one and NAU/MCC as my second choice. Yeah me too i'm so excited to start! ASU doesn't have an orientation date set yet but they said they would send an info packet this month in march
  21. I think I'm the only ASU cep on here but I applied 2 days after being accepted and have been admitted. I attended asu but hadn't yaken classes there in two years so I just had to apply for re admission, that's probably why it didn't take too long for me. Did you guys have your NAU orientation yet?
  22. I'll be attending MCC in the fall! I will definitely be in contact :)
  23. I know right? I just want to get everything done and start already!
  24. I just got my email!! I applied to mcc
  25. YAY! Congrats!
